The Bowden development was once again acknowledged as a place that inspires excellence in urban built form with Rivergum Homes and Living Developments being recognised at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) South Australia Awards for Excellence on Friday night, 17 October 2014.

Rivergum Homes were honoured with two category wins for their Bowden Terraces on Sixth which included awards for Medium Density Housing and Environmental Excellence.

These terraces have become an icon within the Bowden development with their polarising ‘hit and miss’ brick façade. This is a great achievement for the Bowden team who have facilitated the opportunity for Rivergum Homes to deliver on the vision for Bowden through such exceptional built form.

Rivergum Homes have also been nominated for judging at the national awards which will be announced at the UDIA congress in Sydney later in March.

This is not the first time the Bowden development has been recognised for its environmental excellence, having been awarded a 5 Star Green Star rating earlier this year for Australian Excellence in environmentally sustainable design.
