A major release of new apartments has begun at Bowden in response to increasing demand from homebuyers for the lifestyle they offer.
Developers Hindmarsh, Mossop and Investec are each releasing new apartments at Bowden, the State Government’s flagship development.
More than 100 apartments, ranging from one to three bedrooms, will go on sale in the next two months — catering to an ever widening range of homebuyers looking for something other than the quarter acre block.
Renewal SA General Manager for Project Delivery, Mark Devine said Bowden was proving that there is a strong market in Adelaide for off-the-plan apartments — and not just in the CBD.
“Bowden has really broken the mould by getting people to see the benefits of living on the edge of the CBD in high quality, architecturally designed apartments and terraces,” Mr Devine said.
“This major release of new apartments means now is the time for people to get into Bowden’s sought after location and cosmopolitan lifestyle.
“Bowden is being snapped up by both owner-occupiers and investors and was in realestate.com.au’s top five most viewed off-the-plan apartment locations in Adelaide.
“Investec, Hindmarsh and Mossop will be offering a diverse range of apartments and I would encourage people to take this opportunity to be part of this popular, city fringe neighbourhood while they can.
“Each apartment building has its own unique feature with something for everyone, including families.”
Nigel Brophy, a Director of Investec’s Infrastructure Finance and Investment Business, said he expected the first release of ‘B’ apartments to tap into surging buyer demand in Bowden.
“We have focused on the design of the apartments to incorporate great natural light, quality appliances and good building security,” Mr Brophy said. “Bowden is a fantastic location where residents can enjoy green open spaces and easy access to public transport and other local amenities. Bowden also demonstrates excellence in sustainable development as a 5-Star Green Star community.”
The new apartments will range in price from $295,000 to $625,000.
- Investec has just released stage one of its three-stage ‘B’ apartments, with 20 two-bedroom apartments available. Ideally located in the heart of Bowden adjacent to the proposed Bowden Town Square, retail precinct and Kevin Taylor Park, The ‘B’ apartments will offer unique views to the city and parklands.
- Hindmarsh is preparing for the release of The Bowery, a 54-apartment development comprising a range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Fronting Sixth Street with an aspect overlooking Kevin Taylor Park, The Bowery will exemplify excellence and innovation in medium density housing. The apartments will enjoy a commanding position with parkland and city views.
- AER1S on the Park by SA Project Developments Pty Ltd and Mossop Construction + Interiors will have 38 apartments, including one-bed studio and two- and three-bedroom apartments and are expected to be released in May/June. AER1S on the Park will offer a vibrant urban lifestyle with well-planned floor layouts, spacious balconies and landscaped upper deck.
More than 220 apartments and terraces have been sold at Bowden so far. Partial stamp duty concessions are available to homebuyers.
