Cycling fever is set to hit Bowden’s streets with the Bowden Elite Team Series cycle race on Saturday, January 31.
Watch South Australia’s elite teams in action with over 90 riders racing the 6.2-kilometre circuit right on the doorstep of Adelaide’s CBD.
Join us at Bowden for spectacular views of the race while enjoying a range of family friendly activities including:
- Jarmer’s Kitchen serving top notch food and drink
- Locapops’s gourmet, organic popsicles handcrafted with SA fruit
- Food and produce vendors from the Organic and Sustainable Market in Plant 1 (listed in The New York Times’s 52 Places to Go in 2015)

(Limited parking will be available off Sixth Street)
The Bowden kermesse is the same route as Round 1, which has a maximum elevation of just under 48 metres. Riders will start from Fifth Street, Bowden to race up and down Park Terrace before heading to War Memorial Drive, then looping back to Park Terrace and Fifth Street through North Adelaide on Jeffcott Street.
War Memorial Drive between Park Terrace and Montefiore Street will also be closed for the duration of the race.
