Oddio Winery to Open in Bowden

20 Nov 2018

The announcement that an Urban winery is opening in Bowden has us pretty excited, to say the least. To find out the official opening date is in just a few weeks? Well, we’re jumping up and down on the spot.

The green accented State Heritage listed (deconsecrated) church on Drayton Street is bringing a tasting room, function space and weekend drinks venue to our great community.

The owners, two up and coming winemakers Greg Grigoriou and Steven Crawford, are bringing their already very successful brands (Delinquente, Frederick Stevenson and Giovanni Armani Giorgio) in to make Bowden home.

They’ve already been squirreling away behind closed doors with the last vintage of their wines being processed right here under our noses. But those doors are set to open, in a big way!

Oddio (Italian for Oh, God!) is having a huge opening weekend 30 November- 2 December. As well as wines by the bottle and glass, the delicious Sunny’s Pizza team will be putting on pizzas, locals The Lost Loaf will be providing sweet treats and there will be beers available too.

If you’d like to sip from home, take away wines are available too.
