The Stepping Stone (SA) Pre-Employment Program is being delivered at Bowden in partnership with the Northern Economic Plan — an initiative of the Department of State Development, Stepping Stone (SA), Child Care Services Training and WorkReady.

This Program offers employment opportunities at Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development Centres in the surrounding suburbs of Adelaide.

Specifically targeting local people within the Bowden project area and wider Adelaide suburbs. All program participants are required to have a clear Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) Police Screen.

This Program will:

• deliver a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care [CHC30113] and provide real employment pathways within the child care sector
• deliver industry specific accredited training designed in partnership with Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare & Early Development Centres
• provide guaranteed work placements for those participants who meet the selection criteria.

This Program will commence on Thursday, 26 November 2015 and run four days per week (Tuesdays to Fridays) for 21 weeks.

There will be no classes between 18 December 2015 and 22 January 2016.
