The Renewal SA Works Program at Bowden proudly supports training and employment initiatives for local people.
The Uniting Care Wesley Bowden (UCWB) Support Worker Pre-employment Program is being delivered at Bowden in partnership with Western Futures, UCWB and TAFE SA.
Participants may already have a background in caring, aged care, disability or youth and have a desire to support people within the community.
People who are support workers, need to be able to bend, stretch and work on their feet for long periods so they can provide personal care and support for people in their homes.
Specifically targeting local people aged 18 or over within Bowden and surrounding western suburbs, all program participants are required to be computer literate and have a clear DCSI Police Screen and have a current driver’s licence.
This program will:
- provide real employment opportunities with Uniting Care Wesley Bowden
